Presentation of Baseline Study Results for IJM's Strong Network of Care Project

Last March 04, 2022, Agafer Creatives presented the results of the Baseline Study for the Strong Network of Care Project in the Philippines implemented by the International Justice Mission (IJM). The Baseline Study aimed to map out the service providers and existing Local Government Units (LGUs) delivering social services intended for survivors of online sexual exploitation of children (OSEC) located in seven regions across the country: NCR, Region III, Region IVA, Region VII, Region VIII, Region X, and Region XIII. The event was attended by almost 100 participants, which included partner service providers and LGUs, survivor study respondents, DSWD representatives, Agafer Creatives' Study Team, and IJM's National and Regional Aftercare Development Team.

The presentation discussed the current institutional and technical capacities of the LGUs and service providers by looking into their assessment standards, offered services, collaborative practices, and existing resources. The identified capacity building and training needs of the LGUs and service providers were also tackled during the presentation.

The results of the Baseline Study will be used for the development of interventions that will ensure the provision of a more comprehensive and trauma-informed care, further ensuring that the journey of OSEC survivors towards reintegration is empowering and sustainable.
